Dave Christopolis

Dave has been working in the non-profit sector for 30 years. When he started in the field he worked in the local community helping adults transition out of the Northampton State Hospital as it closed in the late eighties. Since then Dave has always worked to help people. He ran the housing department at a Community Mental Health Center and was the Planning Director for an anti-poverty agency. Over time he shifted his focus to non-profit management to try and build local systems that provide opportunities to build a more equitable society. Dave is a rural advocate, environmentalist and works for economic and social justice. He promotes the importance of respecting and protecting the natural world and how critical it is for us to be more connected to nature.
Dave also holds a master’s degree in Organization and Management from Antioch New England Graduate School and studied Jazz Composition at Berklee College of Music. Dave is a working musician/ songwriter performing as a sideman to many musical groups.
