Enriching Lives in a Rural Economy

Who We Are

Hilltown CDC is a private non-profit organization focused on empowering the Hilltown region by delivering impactful programs that address economic, housing, education, and social needs, all while preserving the unique rural character of the area.

What We Do

  • Affordable Housing Solutions: Building and renovating homes and apartments for Hilltown families, seniors, veterans, and first-time home buyers.

  • Elder Support Programs: Providing seniors with essential services to live independently through the Hilltown Elder Network (HEN) and Health Outreach Program for Elders (HOPE).

  • Childcare and Food Support: Offering childcare subsidies and providing food assistance via the Hilltown Food Pantry.

  • Transportation Assistance: Providing low-cost van transportation for seniors to medical appointments and essential destinations in five rural towns.

  • Small Business Empowerment: Strengthening local businesses through workshops, networking, and the Hilltown Business Directory.

  • Creative Economy Initiatives: Showcasing arts, music, and culture while fostering educational programming to stimulate the creative economy.

There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about.
